Holy Spirit is a progressive community committed to hospitality, worship and service. Our weekly gathering, on Thursday evenings, begins with dinner hosted by one of our members or the community as a potluck followed by a celebration of Holy Communion. Our service is distinguished by language that is contemporary and inclusive, yet rooted in the contemplative traditions of the Church. Our discussion of the Scripture readings, open to all, can be animated and surprising. We conclude with dessert and more social time. It’s a casual, intimate yet accessible service in which all are welcome to participate at their comfort level.
worship on Thursdays
Holy Spirit meets every Thursday in the Jonathan Daniels Room at St. Paul's Commons (address below) for a service we call “The Lord’s Supper in Three Courses”:
• A gathering of food, drink and fellowship;
• A contemporary service of Holy Communion using modern scriptural texts and an open time of reflection, and
• Dessert and more fellowship.
Fellowship (optional) begins at 7 p.m., and the service starts about 7:30 p.m.

First-time visitors are encouraged to email us before your visit so that we can ensure access to our site. Protected parking is available via the entrance at 829 Laguna Avenue, the street behind the building. Please arrive before 7:15 p.m. for access.
