Holy Spirit Fellowship

An Emerging Episcopal Community in the Los Feliz/Silver Lake area of Los Angeles

A combination of the traditional mystery
of the worship of the Episcopal Church . . .
with a contemporary application of God's Word
to the world in which we live.

The Holy Spirit Descends on the Disciples and Mary
- Kercken Postilla, 1563

Pentecost
- Frances Richards, 1903 - 1985

We are growing into a widely-inclusive community,
reflecting the incredible diversity of God's creation.

All persons, wherever they find themselves on their journey of faith,
are welcome to worship with us at Holy Spirit Fellowship,
to share in the gifts of the Bread and Wine made Holy.

Pentecost
- Life of Jesus Mafa, 1977

Pentecostes
- Jaime Dominguez, 1997

We currently worship on Thursday evenings at 7:00 PM

Come and enjoy our new (well, we've been there a few months now) roomier quarters at . . .

the Laguna Apartments Community Room
4201 West Sunset Boulevard
Los Angeles, CA 90029
(Enter via the patio gate on Sunset, next to the building front lobby door.)
(Click on the address above for a map)

Worship is a simple gathering of the community
celebrating the "Lord's Supper in 3 courses."

We gather first with light hors d'oeuvres, beverages and conversation,
then sit for the Service of the Word (scripture lessons - see below for this week's - and discussion),
then gather around the Holy Table for Communion, with a different Episocpal priest presiding each week,
and follow that with dessert and coffee and more conversation.

Whoever you are, wherever you find yourself on the journey of faith, you are welcome at Holy Spirit,
to participate in whatever way and at whatever level you are comfortable
.
